2012 Pinarello Dogma 2 in stock now!

More things to make today a great Wednesday. While we wait anxiously for the Di2 specific frames to arrive, we are happy to announce that we've received more 2012 Pinarello Dogma 2 Carbon 60.1 mechanical frames.

The Movistar Dogma 2 frame is definitely very eye catching. Check out more color options below.

Wednesday = "Need some inspiration"-Day

One thing that I've always had love for (even before the increased popularity on these cars) was the old school Porsches, specifically the 964 generation. RWB (RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF) is a known shop in Japan that's been in business for over 15 years. They are going to open an US location soon, so I am definitely looking forward to seeing their presence in the bay area.

Check out the awesome feedback from a proud owner of a RWB 964

Wouldn't this look great with a Pinarello Dogma 2 up on top?

Tom Cruise reliving his "Days of Thunder" with a little twist....

It must be fun to have an opportunity to drive expensive sports cars, but how about some action behind the wheel of a Formula 1?

As if driving a Formula 1 isn't enough, add a helicopter session in there too. Must be nice to be Tom Cruise.

Something different: RWB from Japan

I've always been a lover of the old-school Porsche. I first learned about RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB) back in 2006 and since then, I've been in love with his work. Here's a great interview from my friends over at Fatlace with Nakai from RWB.

Their shop will definitely be a "MUST-VISIT" if anyone is in Japan and loves Porsche's.

Orange crush custom Niner Air 9 Carbon

Here we have a great example of how simple yet effective a 29'er hardtail can be. This was just picked up by one of our clients who's tearing it up right now on his new Niner Air 9 Carbon.

Built with a brand new 2012 Fox fork , custom built Chris King hubs laced to Stans No Tubes rims, this Niner Air 9 Carbon is ready to crush.

Garmin lovers: power meter finally available!

More great news continues to trickle out as we get closer to the 2011 Interbike (Sept. 13-16) and this is a great one from Garmin. They are now releasing their own version of pedal-based power measurement system.

These babies will not be out till March of 2012, sources say, and with a rumored price tag of $1499 for pedals and transmitter, this will be a hard power meter to beat. Here are videos from Garmin explaining a bit of how the system is great training tool.

Ken Block at it again...

This is a great video (as usual from Ken Block and his sponsors), but what was found interesting while watching this was how many different Hollywood hits were incorporated into this whole video.

Such a great concept to do something like this. I'd be curious what type of videos they would make with bikes.

Industrial Revolutions presents Danny MacAskill

Check out the insane skills displayed by Danny MacAskill in his latest video

Danny MacAskill riding on Shimano Saint Cranks and new XTR Ice-Tech Brakes
“We wanted something different from Danny's other videos but as I'm from a mountain bike background I didn't want to produce a standard 'urban' bmx style video," said Stu. "We looked hard for a location that would have a character in the film and make it very different from the others."

Danny said: “We were pretty tight on time making it, as I've had a busy year, but with Stu's filming skills and a great soundtrack I think we've managed to pull off a fun little film... spread it, if you like it!”

Troy Lee Designs D2 Helmet

"No body does it like Troy Lee" is what comes to mind when this helmet came in.

Words of our very own Avi Byer when he saw the helmet... "Daaaaayyyyyyymmmmmnnn!"

Shimano Ultegra Di2 Review by Bikerumor.com

Since we're not a news media company, we weren't able to participate in Shimano's Press demo on the new Ultegra Di2. However, this review by bikerumor.com is thorough enough to get a great idea on the new Ultegra Di2 system.

With the retail pricing at around $1600 for just the electric components and roughly $2300 for the entire Ultegra group, this would definitely be the start of a new wave for electronic shifting. Here is the full article quoted from Bikerumor.com.

NINER Fork durability

This is something that some of you have seen already in the past, but for those that are curious about how durable NINER carbon forks are, here's something to set your worries aside

Now OBVIOUSLY we are not telling you to go ahead and do the same to your fork, or your carbon frame for that matter. This is just a great video to show our fans out there how strong carbon can be. This is the same carbon that's used in Niner's new Jet 9 RDO which we're accepting orders for now!

Pit Entry Fail...

Sometimes, even race-car drivers don't know what they're doing...

The Blancpain-Ritter Lamborghini Gallardo Driven by Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof fails spectacularly at making the turn into pit lane during this year's 24 hours of Spa.
