Zipp 202 Firecrest Carbon Clinchers: Really worth the money? Full review after spending much time on them!

For the past year, I have been riding on the Zipp 303 Firecrest carbon clincher wheels which have been a very pleasurable experience! The wheels are fast, lightweight, and let's face it, everyone loves the look of a deeper rim profile! If you're born to be a mountain goat, there's not too much that can hold you back from being the KOM on your club rides or local races. However, if you're not blessed with great power-to-weight ration, every bit of rotating mass can really hold you back from even keeping up with the group on those long climbs…

This is where the new Zipp 202 Firecrest carbon clinchers step in: Listed weight is at 1375 grams from Zipp (our set weighed in at 1340 without skewers or rim tape) which is a pretty impressive weight for 32mm aero carbon clincher wheelset. However, some concerns jump to mind: How big of a difference will these be from the deeper 303's? Will I be sacrificing aerodynamics? How durable will this wheelset be with less surface area to dissipate braking heat?

Knolly Endorphin: The perfect trail bike for the aggressive rider!

Knolly's Endorphin may be the Chilcotin's younger brother, but if I was daddy, the Endorphin would probably be my favorite son! Versatility is the name of the game with the Endorphin.

You can build up to be a svelte lightweight marathon bike (under 25 lbs.) with a 140mm fork or build it up to compete in the ring with the Chilcotin by throwing on a 160mm fork and some beefy tires as this frame has an appetite for technical terrain! Coming from the Chilcotin (which I loved) as my primary trail / all mountain bike, I didn't want to sacrifice descending capabilities.  However, I wanted to drop some weight as I felt like the Chilcotin was like bringing a RPG to a gun fight with most of the riding I do here in the SF Bay area. My large Endorphin came in at 28.5 lbs. with pedals ... 3 lbs. less than my Chilcotin!

For this build, I wanted to go with a Wrench Science theme so I incorporated orange wherever I could without going over the top.  The raw color that Kevin from Knolly suggested looks great with this theme.
