Look 695 Duo's
Look 695 has been so popular since their release that normally to receive one is to get your Christmas gift early. This however, was like receiving Christmas and birthday presents at the same time.
Here we have two Look 695 SR in matte black, one built with Shimano Dura Ace 7900 Grouppo and Zipp ZEDTECH wheels, and other with Sram RED Black and Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL wheels, and to top it off, both bikes were setup with Ciamillo Negative G Brakes. In case anyone was wondering, yes these frames are made in France, not anywhere else. Enjoy!

2011 Colnago M10 Close-up
Colnago has always been a company of prestige. Everyone knows that they take huge pride in their product, and honestly, they're probably one of the most consistent bike manufactures, keeping their quality to a higher standard than most manufactures today. They never follow the trend just for the sake of popularity, they will only make changes when it's been tried and trued.
The Colnago M10 is no exception to their motto.Colnago took their successfully made monocoque frame CX-1 and made it even stiffer, more comfortable, and better performance. They went with tapered head tube, Bigger bottom bracket, rear q-stay for more vertical absorption, and it is lighter than the CX-1.
Here's some eye candy:

Amgen Tour of California stage 4 INSIDE SPECIAL!
A lot of times, cyclists admire those who work for bike shops, often assuming that being an employee for a bike shop such as Wrench Science means tons of perks. Those who are employees of bike shops will tell those cyclists the real deal, and that is we don't get many perks.
Today however was a different story. We were fortunate enough to receive the green light for getting a chance to ride along with the team assist vehicle of Bissell Pro Cycling. We have been selling Pinarello bikes for a long time now so we're no stranger to how well they perform, but to get this opportunity and honor of riding along, being close to the action is just beyond words.

Ben Swift of TEAM SKY WINS!
The conclusion of Amgen Tour of California Stage 2 couldn't have been more exciting. Team Sky's Ben Swift timed his finishing sprint to hold off the attacks of Peter Sagan (Liquigas) and Matt Goss (HTC-Highroad) in the final meters. Team Sky had a spectacular lead-out in the final lap of the 2nd stage of Amgen Tour of California. This marks another win for Team Sky on their Pinarello Dogma Carbon 60.1 Di2.

Much respect for Giro d'Italia
As most of the readers already know, there was an unfortunate death yesterday during the 3rd stage of Giro d'Italia. Wouter Weylandt of team Lepord-Trek was involved in an unfortunate crash that ended in the worst possible way. Best wishes for the Weylandt family.

Do you know what TIME it is?
TIME for VIP! 2011 TIME RXRS VIP Di2 Ulteam Module+ to be more exact. This was definitely an exciting bike to watch as it was built. Module picked was one that included the TIME RTM Stem and TIME Ergo Force Handlebar. Being that this is a Di2 Specific frame, internal wiring is already pre-set, and of course their battery mount is nicely tucked away, keeping the flow of the bike as esthetically pleasing as they could. Finishing up the bike with ZIPP ZED TECH wheels is just like having the cherry on top.
Ibis Mojo SL-R special!
Big thanks to the guys at Ibis Cycles for giving us the opportunity to check out first hand what the new 2011 Ibis Mojo SL-R is all about. Knowing that these Mojo SL-R's are SUPER limited ( we were told there are only 7 built as of this moment), getting one from Ibis was like Christmas. We will definitely be putting this thing through the trails here in the bay area, and take a nice close look at what it's all about. If you're in the area, come by and check it out in person!

2011 LOOK 695 Custom built by Wrench Science
Another beautiful custom built bike here at Wrench Science. This time, the weapon of choice was the 2011 Look 695 paired with Campagnolo's 2011 Record group and Shamal Ultra 2-Way Fit wheelset. The bike weighs in at around 14.65lbs without pedals (very impressive given the frame size is XXL)!

Cadel Evans wraps up Tour de Romandie as Ben Swift takes final stage

GENEVA, Switzerland (VN) — Any stage race would like to have a final podium as distinctive as 1. Cadel Evans, 2. Tony Martin and 3. Alexander Vinokourov. And that result after six days of always fascinating and sometimes dramatic racing at the 65th Tour de Romandie was fully deserved. Just as distinctive was Sunday’s stage 5 into Geneva that culminated in a brilliantly executed win for Team Sky’s enormously talented British sprinter Ben Swift, 23, right next to the Swiss city’s world-renowned water-jet fountain that plumes 460 feet out of the lake.
Swift may have ended his sprint at only one third of the enormous speed (200 kph) that the fountain’s water is jetted into the sky; but the style with which Sky launched their man toward the finish line was no less impressive. Right after crossing the line, well clear of Leopard-Trek’s Italian sprinter Davide Vigano and Rabobank’s evergreen fast man Oscar Freire, Swift had one word to describe the final kilometer: “Fast!”
Then, after hugging all his teammates as they came to join him one by one, he was asked by VeloNews who did the actual lead out. “The whole team,” he said. “It was absolutely unbelievable today. We rode before the finish after the (four-man) break, and then Sky did an absolutely perfect lead-out. We had four guys going around that final turn, so we had strength in numbers.”
All seven of his teammates contributed to a result that gave Swift his fourth victory of the year, and sets him up as an obvious future rival for his countryman Mark Cavendish — especially on stages where there are challenging climbs like those on Sunday. “And when you’ve got the horsepower with riders like Wiggo and G and CJ,” he said, referring to Great Britain’s multi-Olympic track champions Brad Wiggins and Geraint Thomas, and Aussie sprinter Chris Sutton, “it’s just brilliant.”
