Hello everyone! This is Calvin at Wrench Science, showcasing a great example of creative bike building with our custom bike builder. Adam from Texas wanted a new Colnago CX-1 Evo with Ultegra, and opted for a custom build over the pre-spec'd option.
You can see that the color theme is matte black and white, love those stripes!
Adam chose Ultegra brake calipers, a Fizik Arione CX saddle with carbon fiber rails, and Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels. His custom part selection cost little more than the pre-spec'd version, and what a great result!
The CX-1 Evo is a terrific value in the Colnago lineup. Updated for 2012, and now convertible between mechanical and electronic component groups. Simply swap a few bolts and frame plugs to have a clean installation for either mechanical or electronic components.
