Gran Fondo USA in LA
What a great weekend it was in Los Angeles, the weather wasn't excruciatingly hot, the winds weren't too strong, and smiles were plentiful while everyone enjoyed the Gran Fondo event hosted by Colnago-America. We were getting some serious coverage from event participants' cameras and smart phones. Here's a couple of our own to start

Gran Fondo LA this weekend hosted by Colnago
For those of you that are just catching up on the news now, Colnago is hosting the Gran Fondo in LA this weekend. Tons of booths full of vendors showing off the Colnago rides. As for Wrench Science, we will walk around on Saturday looking to give away these....
and on Sunday, we'll be participating in the Gran Fondo and recording the action, huge thanks to Contour for getting the units to us in time, with the Contour GPS camera.
Thanks Contour and Luna! See everyone in Los Angeles!

Silver Oak Cellar and Lance Armstrong!
One of our excellent clients of all time from Silver Oak Cellar, Tim Duncan, was on a ride with the one and only Lance Armstrong today, while sporting the Wrench Science Jersey!
Maybe we can get Lance to wear a Wrench Science kit too one of these days.

Ellsworth Evolution SST.2 at its finest!
Here we have a great example of a full suspension 29er trail bike for everyday riding. With the Ellsworth Evolution SST.2 as frame to build on, SRAM X.O. build kit keeping the drivetrain shifting precise while staying very light, and a couple custom pieces from Chris King, Magura, and Gravity Dropper to give it that extra touch personalizing the bike for the customer.
The Ellsworth Evolution SST.2 that we see here complete with SRAM X.O. build and upgraded parts weighs in at 28 lbs without pedals.

Bike Crash during Criterium du Dauphine
Normally, you would think that we as cyclist would only have look out for cars, bad pavement, and other cyclist during our ride or race. Guess during Criterium du Dauphine, cows are something to look out for as well!

Time RX Instinct Black Review - BikeRadar
Time is one of the few companies left on the market right now that still manufactures their own frame in their country of origin. This means that their frames are all hand made in France, not somewhere else and packaged in France. Here's some insight from BikeRadar about Time's RX Instinct.
With Time giving the range a complete revamp over the last two years, we had concerns that one of our favourite all-round race machines could be compromised by complex carbon shapes and new tube designs.
